Adventure And Pandas

Other than portraits, I really enjoy painting landscapes from time to time! I decided to take a reference photo of myself standing up, and then used Photoshop to add myself into the rest of the landscape. The key here was to try and paint myself into the scenery, such that the base image didn't stand out as a seperate picture. By painting over myself and adding some textures, it looks no different to a full on drawing that I could have put together for production. Photobashing myself into my art is a truly enjoyable exercise overall that I might do more often for future illustrations.
